A successful collection visit usually starts before you reach the testing center. Review your order details and follow the instructions provided for your specific service rather than relying on general advice.
Confirm the order and collection location
Verify the test you purchased, the collection-site address, and whether the site requires an appointment. Some orders require you to select or confirm a location before a donor pass becomes available. If your employer arranged testing, check the instructions they provided.
Bring the right documents
Collection sites commonly verify identity and testing authorization. Bring government-issued identification if instructed, along with the donor pass, registration confirmation, or other paperwork provided for the order. A screenshot or expired authorization may not be accepted at every site.
Follow collection instructions
Read any advance instructions carefully. Requirements may differ by test method and program. Do not attempt to change your specimen or follow online “detox” advice. If you have a medical question, ask the testing provider or an appropriate healthcare professional.
What happens after collection
Once the specimen is collected, processing and review depend on the specific test and service. A completion receipt is not necessarily a final laboratory result. Check the secure customer portal or the communication method designated for your order.
If plans change
If the collection site is closed, your order is missing an authorization, or you cannot attend, contact support before purchasing a second test. Provide your order reference through the approved support channel, but do not send sensitive medical information by ordinary email.
